This class, as prescribed by industry and OSHA standards, provides a basic awareness level understanding that allows the student to recognize and identify RF safety hazards that may be present, and how to minimize the risk of exposure.
To achieve compliance, the required course content includes:

- Content of written program
2. Understanding RF Energy
- Definition of Electromagnetic (RF) Energy
- How RF Energy works
- Safety issues with RF Energy
- Dangers associated with RF energy
- Avoiding the hazards
3. Signage Requirements
