The Telewave.io Model 44D-LX Broadband RF Wattmeter is a compact, high-performance instrument designed for precise measurement of forward and reflected RF power. Retaining the rugged housing and proven form factor of the classic 44A model, the 44D-LX adds advanced digital capabilities and compatibility with both legacy and modern modulation types, including CW, FM, Non TDMA FSK, P25 P2, DMR, and TETRA (see user manual for details).

This digital wattmeter requires no field calibration, frequency elements, or correction tables, ensuring reliable performance across its entire frequency and temperature range.

44D-LXE Description:

The Telewave.io Model 44D-LXE Broadband RF Wattmeter is a compact, durable instrument for accurately measuring forward and reflected RF power. Built in the same rugged housing as the trusted 44A model, it combines a proven form factor with modern digital features.

It supports a wide range of modulation formats, including traditional Land Mobile (CW, FM, non TDMA FSK) and newer TDMA and Quadrature schemes such as P25 P2, DMR, and TETRA (see user manual for details). No field calibration, frequency elements, or correction tables are required for operation at any specified frequency or temperature.

Key features include:

•  Extended battery life with rapid chargingóup to six hours of use on the included external battery, with a 12V DC charger for four times faster charging. An optional high-capacity 12V battery can extend usage up to ten hours.

•  A USB-C data port is provided for data transfer

•  Digital frequency counter delivers precise frequency measurements.

Comparison of 44D-LX and 44D-LXE

The 44D LX features an internal battery providing up to 8 hours of operation, with an optional 7.4V external pack extending runtime to 16 hours, charged via an 8.4V DC charger. In contrast, the 44D LXE uses an external 12V battery that delivers 6ñ10 hours of use depending on capacity and supports both standard 12V DC charging and optional car charging.
